The average summer temperature ranges from 37-54°F.

The Alpine Tundra The Alpine Tundra is located on the top of mountains. Trees cannot grow because of the high altitude. The growing season is 180 days. Winter temperatures are normally near 0°F. Summer temperatures range from 37-54°F.
